Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2223AE is a remanufactured axle assembly, built to stringent quality standards for precision and reliability. This unit features a 3.21 gear ratio, an 8.25-inch Chrysler ring gear, and a 10-bolt round cover. The assembly is designed without Posi-Traction and includes a rounded brake mounting flange. Zumbrota Drivetrain ensures the longevity of each unit by establishing correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements. Their process includes hydro blasting and rinsing of all housings to restore an OEM finish, and a 100% replacement of bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims. Internal components, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo a 100% inspection. All housings are tested for surface wear and cracks, and tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications. This axle assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
