The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1893C is a remanufactured axle assembly built for Ford 8.8" differentials. This unit features a 3.27 gear ratio and Posi Traction, designed to restore precision and reliability to your vehicle's drivetrain. The process includes a comprehensive inspection of the housing for straightness, cracks, and wear. Internally, all components such as ring & pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers are fully inspected and tested. Zumbrota replaces all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims. The gears are set with precise backlash and rolling torque, measured in inch-pounds, ensuring optimal tooth contact patterns for longevity and quiet operation. The axle tubes are also verified to meet OEM straightness specifications. Zumbrota employs an exclusive cleaning process for its remanufactured assemblies.
