Remanufactured Axle Assembly 3.31 Ratio Rear Disc

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2024B is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically designed for the 2000 Ford F-150 equipped with a 9.75-inch ring gear and a 3.31 gear ratio. This assembly is intended for models featuring rear disc brakes and explicitly states it is "Without Posi Traction". Zumbrota Drivetrain rebuilds each axle assembly to stringent quality standards, emphasizing precision and reliability. The process involves a comprehensive inspection of all internal components, including the ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, all bearings and seals are replaced. Gears undergo meticulous inspection for ideal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, measured in inch-pounds for precise setup. Gear backlash is set accurately to promote proper gear lubrication and ensure quiet operation. Furthermore, axle tubes are inspected to meet OEM standards for straightness. Zumbrota employs an exclusive remanufacturing process that includes a hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure for both internal and external parts. This is followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning method, establishing a benchmark for the quality of remanufactured axle assemblies. The assembly includes the axle cover and features 14 MM wheel studs and 2.533 OD wheel bearings. This is a semi-floating axle type. This specific unit requires verification via "Check Tag" to ensure proper fitment. It is important to note that this item is special ordered and may have cancellation or return restrictions.
