Remanufactured Axle Assembly 3.42 Ratio

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2216A-P is a remanufactured axle assembly for GM 8.0-inch differentials, meticulously rebuilt to exacting standards. This axle assembly features a 3.42 gear ratio and is specifically built for 2WD 2004-2007 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon models. It is compatible with vehicles equipped with the Z85 increased capacity chassis package and the G80 Posi-traction limited-slip differential. It is noted that this assembly is without the Z71 off-road chassis package and without the ZQ8 sport chassis package. During the remanufacturing process, all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Internal components, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo 100% inspection. Critical wear items such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced. The housings are hydro-blasted and rinsed to restore them to an OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established for precision setup and longevity. This assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
