Remanufactured Axle Assembly 3.42 Ratio GM 8.0" 10 Bolt

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-184 is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for 2009-2012 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon 2WD models. This assembly features a 3.42 gear ratio and utilizes a GM 10 Bolt 8.0 inch ring gear. Each axle tube is inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, while housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. All internal components, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo a 100% inspection. Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The housing is cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore its OEM finish. Precise setup and longevity are ensured through the establishment of correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements. This specific RAA435-184 model is configured with the GU6 ratio option. It is compatible with vehicles that have the Sport Chassis Package (ZQ8) but is not compatible with the Off Road Chassis Package (Z71) or the Increased Capacity Chassis Package (Z85).
