The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2209B-P is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for the Ford 9.75" differential. This unit features a 3.55 gear ratio and is specifically built for Ford F-150 models from 2004-2008 equipped with rear disc brakes and a Posi Traction limited-slip differential. Each Zumbrota axle assembly undergoes a rigorous rebuilding process to ensure precision and reliability. This includes thorough inspection of axle tubes for straightness and absence of cracks, as well as comprehensive testing of all internal components like ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings and seals are replaced as standard. The gears are meticulously inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and set to precise rolling torque specifications using inch-pound measurements to guarantee longevity and quiet operation. Proper gear backlash is also set to ensure correct lubrication and prevent noise.
