Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced. The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1905C is a remanufactured complete axle assembly designed for Ford 8.8-inch differentials, specifically for the 1997-2000 Ford Expedition with a 3.55 gear ratio. This axle assembly undergoes a thorough remanufacturing process. All tubes are inspected and straightened to meet OEM specifications. Housings are rigorously tested for surface wear and cracks. Internal components, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are inspected 100%. Critical wear items such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced with new parts to ensure reliability and performance. The remanufacturing also includes a comprehensive cleaning process using hydro blasting, which restores the housing to its original OEM finish.
