The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2031A is a remanufactured complete axle assembly designed for specific Ford F-150 models from 1999. This unit features a 3.55 gear ratio, a Ford 9.75-inch ring gear, and is configured for rear drum brakes with 12mm wheel studs. Each Zumbrota axle assembly is rebuilt to exacting standards, ensuring precision and reliability. The remanufacturing process includes a comprehensive inspection of all housing and internal components for straightness, wear, and cracks. Key internal parts such as the ring and pinion, gears, clutches, and carriers are rigorously tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new components to guarantee longevity and performance. Zumbrota Drivetrain utilizes a specialized cleaning process, including hydro-blasting, rinsing, and sandblasting, to restore housings to OEM finish.
