Remanufactured Axle Assembly 3.73 G80 Posi Traction

This unit comes with a 3.73 gear ratio and a G80 Posi Traction limited-slip differential, offering enhanced traction and performance for your vehicle. This axle assembly is designed specifically for 2004-2007 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon models. It is compatible with vehicles equipped with the Z85 increased capacity chassis package. However, it is not compatible with the Z71 off-road chassis package or the ZQ8 sport chassis package. The assembly features an 8-inch AAM ring gear and a 10-bolt cover. During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain ensures all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks. Internal components, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo 100% inspection. Critical wear items such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Furthermore, all housings are hydro-blasted and rinsed to restore them to an OEM finish. The assembly is set up with the correct rolling torque established using precise inch-pound measurements for optimal setup and longevity. Please note that this axle assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
