It features a 3.73 gear ratio paired with an AAM 11.5-inch ring gear and includes Posi Traction for improved grip and handling. This axle assembly is meticulously rebuilt. Zumbrota Drivetrain ensures correct rolling torque through precise inch-pound measurements, contributing to optimal setup and extended service life. The housing is restored to an OEM finish using a state-of-the-art hydro-blasting and rinsing process. Furthermore, every component is thoroughly inspected: 100% of bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Internal parts, including the ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carrier, undergo a comprehensive inspection. Housings are also tested for surface wear and cracks, and all tubes are verified to be straightened to OEM specifications. This specific assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which must be sourced separately.
