The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA440-1353B is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically designed for GM 7.2 IFS vehicles, offering a 3.73 gear ratio and a GM 7.25 inch ring gear with GT4 ratio option. This assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. All housings are tested for surface wear and cracks, and subjected to a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore an OEM finish. Internals, including ring and pinion gears, clutches, and carriers, are 100% inspected. Furthermore, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced to ensure precision setup and longevity. The correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements. Units are shipped in high-density plastic totes to minimize in-transit damage. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes quality, ensuring each axle assembly is rebuilt to the highest standards of precision and reliability.
