Remanufactured Axle Assembly 3.90 Ratio 7.25" Ring Gear

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA440-1306D is a remanufactured complete axle assembly, rebuilt to stringent quality standards for precision and reliability. This assembly is designed for Chrysler 7.25 IFS applications and specifically fits 1987-1992 Dodge Dakota models with the 3.9L engine. During the remanufacturing process, each axle assembly undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are inspected and tested. Zumbrota replaces all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims. The gears are meticulously inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, measured in inch-pounds for precise setup and longevity. The gear backlash is set to ensure proper lubrication and quiet operation, while axle tubes are inspected to meet OEM standards of straightness. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning process, setting a high standard for axle assembly remanufacturing.
