Remanufactured Axle Assembly 4.10 Ratio Ford 8.8-Inch Posi Traction

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1492KL-P is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for precision and reliability, featuring a 4.10 gear ratio and a Ford 8.8-inch ring gear. This complete axle assembly is equipped with a Posi Traction differential and a flat flange pinion yoke, and it is specifically manufactured without ABS. Each unit undergoes a thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. Zumbrota Drivetrain ensures longevity and optimal performance by replacing 100% of bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims. The gears are meticulously inspected for proper tooth contact patterns, and correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements for precise setup. Gear backlash is set to guarantee adequate lubrication and quiet operation. Furthermore, axle tubes are inspected to meet OEM specifications for straightness. All housings are cleaned using an advanced hydro-blast and rinsing process, restoring them to OEM finish. This remanufacturing process also includes proprietary shot-peening for deep cleaning of internal and external parts. The axle type is semi-floating, a cover is included, but fluid is not. This axle assembly is designed to fit Ford Bronco (1990-1996) and Ford F-150 (1990-1996) models, including specific XL and XLT trims from 1993-1995. It does not fit Lightning models.
