During the remanufacturing process, all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications. Housings are tested for surface wear and cracks, and all internal components, including ring and pinion gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo a 100% inspection. Additionally, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The housings are cleaned using a hydro blasting and rinsing process, and correct rolling torque is established for precision setup and longevity. The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1841B-P is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for the Dana 80 rear end. This unit is precisely remanufactured for 1992-2002 GM 3500HD trucks, featuring a 5.13 gear ratio, dual rear wheels (DRW), and a wide track configuration with G80 Posi Traction. The remanufacturing process involves a rigorous inspection of all components. Tubes are checked for straightness and repaired to OEM specifications. Housings are thoroughly tested for surface wear and cracks to ensure structural integrity. Internally, all parts, including the ring and pinion, gears, clutches, and carrier, are inspected 100%. To guarantee optimal performance and durability, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The housings are meticulously cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process, restoring them to an OEM finish.
