The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1795A is a remanufactured axle assembly meticulously rebuilt to exacting standards for 1995-1997 GM Camaro and Firebird models. This unit is engineered with a 7.5-inch ring gear and a 2.73 gear ratio, specifically tailored for applications featuring rear disc brakes and equipped with traction control (option NW9). It's important to note that this assembly is designed without posi-traction functionality. The axle type is semi-floating, and while a cover is included, the necessary fluid is not provided. All bearings and seals are replaced with new parts. Furthermore, the gears are precisely set for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, with proper gear backlash established to guarantee adequate lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are also inspected for OEM standards of straightness.
