Remanufactured Axle Assembly

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2204A is a remanufactured axle assembly, engineered for precision and reliability. It is built around a Chrysler 8.25-inch ring gear and features a 3.55 gear ratio. This specific assembly is designed for 4x4 models of the 2004-2005 Dodge Durango that are equipped with traction control. During the remanufacturing process, each axle assembly is meticulously inspected. This includes checking for housing straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Internally, all components such as ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers are subjected to thorough inspection and testing. As a standard procedure, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
