Remanufactured Axle Assembly, Dana 60, 3.55 Ratio

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1773A is a remanufactured complete axle assembly designed for the Dana 60 rear axle. This assembly is specifically built for the 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 model, featuring a 3.55 gear ratio and Posi Traction. Each Zumbrota Drivetrain axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process to meet precision and reliability standards. This includes thorough inspection of the housing for straightness, cracks, and surface wear, along with 100% inspection of all internal parts such as ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced to ensure longevity and proper function. Gears are meticulously inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and set to precise rolling torque using inch-pound measurements. The remanufacturing process also includes a specialized hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning, which restores the housing to an OEM finish. Axle tubes are inspected and straightened to meet OEM specifications, ensuring proper setup and quiet operation. This assembly is designed for models with a 7500 GVW and is applicable up to the build date of 9/23/93. It does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts.
