Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2201-P is a remanufactured axle assembly engineered for the robust Dana 80 rear axle. This assembly is specifically designed for 2000-2001 Dodge Ram 3500 DRW models equipped with a Posi Limited Slip Differential (LSD). This remanufactured unit undergoes a thorough inspection and refurbishment process. All housing tubes are checked for straightness against OEM specifications, and the housings themselves are tested for surface wear and cracks to ensure integrity. Internally, all components, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, and clutches, are inspected. To guarantee longevity and performance, 100% of bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The housings are meticulously cleaned using a hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to an OEM finish. Precision setup is ensured with the establishment of correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements.
