The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1832D is a remanufactured complete axle assembly built to high standards of precision and reliability for the Ford 8.8 Inch differential. This specific unit is configured with a 3.27 gear ratio and Posi Traction, making it suitable for the 1995 Ford Crown Victoria Police package equipped with ABS. It is designed as a direct replacement, but it is important to note that this assembly does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which may need to be sourced separately. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes a rigorous remanufacturing process. Each axle assembly undergoes thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested. Crucially, all bearings and seals are replaced with new components.
