The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1918B is a remanufactured complete axle assembly, engineered for durability and precise performance. This semi-floating axle features a 3.55:1 gear ratio and comes with a cover, though fluid is not included. Each Zumbrota axle assembly undergoes rigorous inspection to ensure optimal performance. This includes thorough inspection of axle tubes for straightness, comprehensive testing of housings for wear and cracks, and 100% inspection of all internal components such as ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers. To guarantee longevity and reliability, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The assembly process establishes the correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements for precise setup, and housings are restored to an OEM finish through an advanced hydro-blasting and rinsing process. This axle assembly is specifically designed for the Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis models from 1998 to 2000. It is noted to be for Police models without ABS and without Posi Traction, and does not include hubs.
