The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA440-1317C is a remanufactured complete axle assembly engineered for precision and reliability. This unit is built for the Dana 35 IFS differential and comes with a 3.92 gear ratio and a 7.562-inch ring gear. Each axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. Zumbrota Drivetrain meticulously inspects all components for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Internal components, including the ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are fully inspected and tested to ensure optimal performance. As part of the rebuild, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The remanufacturing process includes precise setup procedures. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements to ensure longevity. Gear backlash is set to precise specifications for proper gear lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are checked to meet OEM standards for straightness.
