The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1663C is a remanufactured complete axle assembly specifically designed for GM 14 Bolt trucks, covering model years 1990-2000. This axle assembly is rebuilt to exacting standards, ensuring precision and reliability. It features a 4.10 gear ratio and is intended for 2WD, Single Rear Wheel (SRW) trucks. The remanufacturing process involves a comprehensive inspection of all components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings and seals are replaced with new parts. Zumbrota Drivetrain meticulously inspects gears for optimal tooth contact patterns and sets correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements to ensure precise setup and extended longevity. Proper gear backlash is established for efficient gear lubrication and quiet operation. Additionally, axle tubes are inspected and straightened to meet OEM specifications, and housings are tested for surface wear and cracks.
