It features new valve stem seals and guides, along with a 3-angle grind valve job and PCD milling for a smooth finish.

The Honda PO8 CH is a remanufactured SOHC VTEC cylinder head designed for 1992-1995 Honda Civic 1.6L models and 1992-1995 Honda Del Sol SI vehicles. This head has been professionally rebuilt to meet AERA specifications, starting with complete disassembly and thorough cleaning via a hot tank and media blasting. It undergoes rigorous pressure testing to confirm the casting is free of cracks, and is equipped with new valve stem seals and guides. A precision 3-angle grind valve job is performed on all valve seats, ensuring perfect compression and vacuum testing. The cylinder head is then PCD milled, a process utilizing Polycrystalline Diamond for optimal sealing on aluminum heads, resulting in a super smooth finish. All components are meticulously cleaned and inspected before final assembly. This remanufactured cylinder head comes with a 3-year unlimited mile warranty from ADV Cylinder Heads, excluding high-performance heads. It is crucial to use the recommended head gasket for installation. Ensure the vehicle's cooling system, including the hoses, water pump, thermostat, and radiator, is in good working condition, as any failure in these components can lead to overheating and damage to the cylinder head, voiding the warranty. Heat tabs are included; removal or melting of the center will void the warranty. Core returns are required within 21 days of delivery to avoid a $550 core charge per core; cores must match the heads purchased. Cam seals are not included.
