The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1948 is a remanufactured axle assembly for the Dana 60. This assembly features a 4.09 gear ratio, a 9.75-inch ring gear, and a 10-bolt cover.

It is designed for 5500 lb axles with 8-lug wheels and does not include Posi Traction. The housing undergoes inspection for surface wear and cracks, and all internal components are 100% inspected. Bearings, seals, and other small parts are replaced with new ones.

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1948 is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically designed for Dana 60 applications. This unit is built to OEM specifications, ensuring a reliable replacement for your vehicle's drivetrain. The assembly features a 4.09 gear ratio, a 9.75-inch ring gear, and a 10-bolt cover, designed for 5500 lb axles with 8-lug wheels. It is important to note that this particular assembly is for models Without Posi Traction and does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. During the remanufacturing process, all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for wear and cracks. Zumbrota Drivetrain performs a 100% inspection of all internal parts, including the ring & pinion, internal gears, clutch, and carrier. Furthermore, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new components. The housings are cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to an OEM finish. Precision setup and longevity are ensured through the establishment of correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements. This remanufactured axle assembly is compatible with 1998-2003 Dodge Van 2500 and 3500 models.
