REMANUFACTURED ENGINE

The SP383 Deluxe Crate Engine delivers 435 hp @ 5,600 rpm and 445 lb.-ft. of torque @ 4,600 rpm. It incorporates LS-inspired valvetrain technology for an expanded rpm range. Features include lightweight aluminum cylinder heads, a forged steel stroker crankshaft, an aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft, and a high-flow aluminum single-plane intake manifold. It comes with the intake manifold, carburetor, distributor, front-end accessory kit, crankshaft balancer, chrome air cleaner, starter, water pump, and spark plug wires pre-installed, though some assembly is required. This engine is intended for competition use only and requires externally balanced flexplate (automatic) or flywheel (manual) and a fuel line from the fuel pump to the carburetor. Not for marine applications. Recommended engine oil: Mobil 1. A distributor with a melonized steel gear is required for steel camshafts to prevent damage.
