Remanufactured IRS Rear Differential, 2.92 Ratio

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA440-1549 is a remanufactured Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) differential, meticulously rebuilt to ensure precision setup and longevity. This unit is designed for specific applications, including the 2015-2018 Ford Edge with a 3.5L engine, the 2017-2020 Continental with a 3.7L engine, and the 2016-2018 Lincoln MKX with a 3.7L engine. During the remanufacturing process, all housings undergo a thorough cleaning via a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing procedure, returning them to an OEM finish. Critical components such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced with new parts. Internal components, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are subjected to a 100% inspection to guarantee their condition and performance. Housings are also tested for surface wear and cracks to ensure structural integrity. This particular differential has a gear ratio of 2.92. It is important to note that the electric clutch is not included with this unit, and it does not include the active clutch section on the front of the housing.
