The Dodge Dakota is a remanufactured manual transmission from Powertrain Products. Every transmission is disassembled, inspected, and cleaned three times, with all new bushings installed. The valve body is rebuilt and tested, and the transmission is reassembled with new o-rings, gaskets, and seals.
Show original supplier description
This unit undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process that includes complete teardown, triple cleaning, and thread chasing, along with the installation of all new bushings. The valve body is meticulously rebuilt and tested using a C.A.R.S. system that simulates real-world driving conditions to ensure proper validation. Following valve body testing, the transmission is reassembled with a complete set of new o-rings, gaskets, and seals. Every remanufactured transmission is subjected to custom dyno testing, which includes spin and load tests, to verify its readiness for road use. This transmission is backed by an industry-leading 7-year, 1-million-mile warranty and includes free core return shipping. Powertrain Products also offers a fitment guarantee, where they will verify your order before shipment to ensure compatibility. Please note that this product may not fit your vehicle, and it is essential to check application notes and verify the VIN code/cast number before ordering. The product details indicate it is a manual transmission with a shipping weight of 220 lbs.
