Remanufactured NP208 Transfer Case

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC208F-1 is a fully remanufactured New Process NP208 transfer case engineered to restore like-new performance. Built for 1980-1986 Ford F-150 and Bronco models, this transfer case undergoes extensive quality checks to ensure reliable operation. It features a non-synchronized, manual shift operation and comes with bolt-on front and rear output yokes for straightforward installation. The transfer case housing is constructed from aluminum and is finished in an aluminum color. It has a fluid capacity of 3.5 quarts, requiring Mercon ATF, which is not supplied with the unit. The RTC208F-1 model is not compatible with mounting brackets, as they are not included. Zumbrota Drivetrain rebuilds these units to high standards, inspecting components for wear, including cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. They utilize a Hydro-blast rinse and proprietary cleaning procedure, and all units are rebuilt with new bearings, seals, and viscous couplers. Each finished transfer case is spun-tested for shiftability and noise and shipped in protective totes to prevent transit damage.
