Remanufactured NP231 Transfer Case

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC231G-5 is a remanufactured NP231 transfer case engineered for 1996-1997 GM S10 and S15 models. This unit offers a durable, rebuilt solution for your drivetrain needs. This transfer case is chain-driven and features a manual shift mechanism. Key specifications include a 32-spline rear output with a slip yoke style, an external spline front output, and a raised input seal retainer for enhanced reliability. It is equipped with a shift indicator switch that is compatible with wire or vacuum connections and includes top mount holes. Zumbrota Drivetrain rebuilds these transfer cases to high standards, thoroughly inspecting internal components for wear such as cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. They utilize a hydro-blast rinse and blasting procedure, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning process.
