The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC241DLD-8 is a remanufactured NP241DLD transfer case, meticulously rebuilt to unparalleled standards. Expert craftsmen inspect and test all components for wear, including cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. The unit undergoes a thorough Hydro-blast rinse and blasting procedure, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning process. All internal components are replaced, including bearings, seals, and viscous couplers. Finished units are spun tested for shift-ability and noise, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This transfer case is specifically designed for 1998-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 models equipped with the NV4500 or NV5600 manual transmission. It features a 1.55-inch, 29-spline input shaft and a 32-spline slip yoke style rear output shaft. Notably, this model does not include a speedometer hole.
