The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC243D-3M is a remanufactured NP243 transfer case designed for 2006-2007 Dodge Dakota and Mitsubishi Raider models. This transfer case features a cup-style front output yoke and includes an electric shift motor.

During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain inspects all components for wear, including cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. Internal and external parts undergo a hydro-blast rinse and proprietary cleaning procedure. All units are rebuilt with new bearings, seals, and viscous couplers, and are spin tested for shiftability and noise before being shipped in protective totes.

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC243D-3M is a remanufactured NP243 transfer case specifically engineered for 2006-2007 Dodge Dakota and Mitsubishi Raider vehicles. It features an electric shift operation and comes equipped with the shift motor, along with a cup-style front output yoke. Zumbrota Drivetrain rebuilds these transfer cases to high standards. Each unit is meticulously inspected for wear, including potential cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. The process involves a thorough hydro-blast rinse and deep cleaning of internal and external components, followed by the replacement of all bearings, seals, and viscous couplers. Every remanufactured transfer case is then spun tested to ensure proper shiftability and quiet operation. Internal specifications include an aluminum housing, a transfer case fluid capacity of 2 quarts (ATF +4 type, not included), a 23-spline input shaft, and a cup-style front output yoke. These transfer cases are shipped in high-density plastic totes to minimize the risk of damage during transit. A refundable core charge applies to this remanufactured unit.
