Remanufactured NP246 Transfer Case

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC246D-2M is a meticulously remanufactured NP246 transfer case, engineered for 2009-2010 Dodge Ram 1500 models equipped with the electric shift option code DH8. This unit comes complete with a shift motor and features a 23-spline input for compatibility. During the remanufacturing process, Zumbrota Drivetrain's expert craftsmen conduct thorough inspections of cases and internal components, checking for wear such as cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. An exclusive Hydro-blast rinse and blasting procedure, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning method, is used on both internal and external parts, restoring them to an OEM finish. Each transfer case is fully rebuilt with the replacement of all bearings, seals, and viscous couplers. To ensure optimal performance and reliability, all finished units undergo thorough spun testing for shift-ability and noise.
