Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RTC271D-4HD is a remanufactured NP271 transfer case, engineered as an upgraded, heavy-duty replacement for 2003-2011 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks equipped with automatic transmissions. This transfer case boasts a 23-spline input shaft with an exposed length of 0.84 inches, paired with a 34-spline rear output shaft featuring a slip yoke style. It includes a 2-position shift indicator switch with a 7/8-inch hex size. The unit is constructed with new, heavy-duty front and rear case halves reinforced with extra webbing to prevent cracking. Key technical specifications include a manual shift type with Option Code DH1, no speedometer hole, and specific tag numbers (52853060AB, 52853060AC, 52853060AD, 52853060AE). This model is designed to be compatible with automatic transmissions and specifically excludes models with the 6.7L diesel engine.
