Remanufactured Rear Axle Assembly

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assembly is a remanufactured rear-end component designed for 2001-2005 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra models, featuring a 3.73 ratio with an 8-lug Posi LSD. These assemblies are rebuilt to high standards of precision and reliability, with each unit subjected to a rigorous inspection process that checks for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. The internal components, including the ring and pinions, clutches, and carriers, receive a complete inspection and testing. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced to ensure a fresh start and dependable performance. The process ensures optimal tooth contact patterns for enhanced durability and performance, with correct gear backlash set for smooth, quiet operation and the elimination of annoying whines or clunks. Zumbrota employs a state-of-the-art hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting technique to restore cases to an OEM finish, and axle tubes are straightened to OEM specifications. This is a semi-floating axle type and includes the cover, but fluid is not included.
