Remanufactured Rear Axle Assembly 3.42 Ratio

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1663A is a complete remanufactured axle assembly, meticulously rebuilt for GM 14 Bolt trucks manufactured between 1990 and 2000. This unit features a 3.42 gear ratio (GU6 option) and is specifically designed for 2WD, Single Rear Wheel (SRW) configurations, excluding models with 9000-9200 GVW. It is not equipped with Posi Traction. This axle assembly is rebuilt to the highest quality standards, emphasizing precision and reliability. Each unit is thoroughly inspected for housing straightness, cracks, and surface wear. Internally, all components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo comprehensive inspection and testing. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The remanufacturing process includes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure for internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning process.
