Remanufactured Rear Axle Assembly 3.73 Posi Traction

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2215B-P is a remanufactured rear axle assembly designed for GM 8.0" applications, featuring a 3.73 gear ratio and Posi Traction for enhanced performance. This axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. All tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for wear and cracks. Internally, all components, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are 100% inspected. Critical wear items such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The housings are cleaned using a hydro blasting process to restore them to an OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established using inch-pound measurements for precision setup and longevity. This rear axle assembly is compatible with 2004-2008 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon RWD vehicles. It also fits specific Isuzu models: 2006 I-280 and I-350, 2007 I-290 and I-370 (RWD), and 2007-2008 I-370 (4WD). The technical notes specify fitment for RWD models with the Off Road Chassis Package Option Z71, and without the Increased Capacity Chassis Package Option Z85 or Sport Chassis Package Option ZQ8. It is also noted for 4WD models with Ratio Option GT4 and Posi Traction. Please note that hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts are not included with this assembly.
