The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-10115 is a remanufactured rear axle assembly specifically built for 2021-2025 Ford F-150 models equipped with an electronic locking differential. This unit features a 3.73 gear ratio and is designed around the Ford 8.8-inch ring gear. Each axle assembly is meticulously rebuilt to exacting standards, ensuring precision and reliability. The remanufacturing process involves a comprehensive inspection of all internal components, including the ring and pinion, gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced as a matter of course. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and set to correct rolling torque and backlash for longevity and quiet operation. Housing integrity is also a critical focus, with each unit tested for straightness, surface wear, and cracks to meet OEM specifications.
