The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1857A-P is a remanufactured rear axle assembly designed for the Dana 80. This assembly features a 3.54 gear ratio and a Posi Limited Slip Differential, ensuring enhanced traction and performance. Each axle assembly is meticulously rebuilt to stringent quality standards. Zumbrota Drivetrain conducts comprehensive inspections for straightness, cracks, and surface wear on all components. Internal parts, including the ring and pinion, gears, clutches, and carriers, are thoroughly inspected and tested. All bearings and seals are replaced during the remanufacturing process. The gears are precisely set for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, measured in inch-pounds for maximum setup accuracy and extended lifespan. Proper gear backlash is established to ensure adequate gear lubrication and quiet operation. The axle tubes are also inspected to meet OEM standards for straightness.
