The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2156A-P is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically engineered for Chrysler 9.25-inch rear differentials, featuring a Posi Limited Slip Differential and a 3.55 gear ratio. This unit is designed for 2003 Dodge Van 1500 models. Each Zumbrota axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. This includes a 100% inspection of all internal parts, such as ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced as standard. The housings are thoroughly cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to an OEM finish, while axle tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications. Gears are set for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, ensuring precision setup and longevity. This specific assembly is for the Chrysler 9.25-inch ring gear with a 12-bolt hexagon cover and includes the differential cover. It does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts. It is a semi-floating axle type and does not come with fluid.
