Description

The Remy 17499 starter motor is a premium remanufactured component designed for reliable engine cranking. It features a planetary gear reduction design for enhanced torque and a compact size, along with a closed nose cone to protect internal components from contaminants. This starter operates on a 12-volt system and has a power rating of 2.2 kW.

This starter is engineered with 11 pinion teeth for proper engagement with the flywheel and has a clockwise rotation direction. It is remanufactured to meet original equipment (OE) standards, with Valeo listed as the OE manufacturer. The unit includes a pulley for complete installation and is designed as a direct, bolt-on replacement requiring no modifications.
