The Pro-King FM69C is a remanufactured high-stall torque converter designed to provide improved torque performance for various Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles. Each unit undergoes a 5-step remanufacturing process, combining computer-aided precision with experienced engineering to correct OE weaknesses and meet or exceed original equipment specifications. The converter is harmonically balanced and leak tested, offering a stall speed range of 1900-2200 RPM. Technically, this 12.732-inch diameter unit features 31 turbine splines, a 1.375-inch pilot diameter, and an 11.375-inch bolt circle with four threaded studs. It is designed specifically for use with AOD-E, 4R70W, 4R75W, and 4R75E automatic transmissions. Due to the high-stall configuration, the use of an auxiliary transmission cooler is recommended to manage increased heat generation compared to stock units. This part is compatible with specific RWD, 4WD, and AWD applications including the 1994-2004 Ford Mustang, 1994-2003 F-150, and various Lincoln and Mercury models ranging from 1992-2014. Please verify transmission and engine compatibility before installation, as incorrect stall speed selection for daily driving may result in excess heat and accelerated transmission wear.
