Description

The Zumbrota RTC10182 is a remanufactured transfer case, meticulously rebuilt for 2019-2023 Jeep Cherokee models equipped with the OPT DK4 two-speed transfer case. Zumbrota Drivetrain emphasizes unparalleled standards in their remanufacturing process. Each unit undergoes thorough inspection of cases and internal components for wear, including checks for cracks, stripped threads, shaft straightness, gear wear, and chain stretch. A proprietary cleaning process involving hydro-blasting and deep cleaning is employed to restore components to an OEM finish. This transfer case is fully rebuilt with the replacement of all bearings, seals, and viscous couplers. After assembly, every unit is thoroughly spun tested to ensure proper shift-ability and to check for any noise. The transfer case has a fluid capacity of 1.06 quarts and requires 75w-90 GL-5 fluid, which is not included. The manufacturer code for this unit is DK4.
