Remanufactured Valve Body

The Sonnax F056 is a remanufactured valve body engineered to resolve common transmission issues in 4R44E, 4R55E, 5R44E, and 5R55E transmissions. Designed for '97-later vehicles equipped with a 4.0L engine, this unit directly addresses TCC application codes and persistent check engine lights. This valve body undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. A critical step involves the installation of a new OE EPC (Electronic Pressure Control) solenoid, as over 85% of used EPCs fail to meet performance criteria. Additionally, it receives an updated EPC bracket and a new pressure regulator boost valve and sleeve. The unit also incorporates seven other exclusive updates. To ensure optimal performance and reliability, all shift and lockup solenoids are subjected to a three-stage testing process. They are individually tested on both analog and digital Sol-X machines for efficiency, amperage, and calibration. Finally, they are tested as an integrated part of the finished valve body on a dedicated testing machine. Installation torque specifications are provided for proper assembly: Valve Body-to-Case Torque Specs are 71-97 in-lb, and Low/Reverse Servo Cover-to-Case Torque Specs are 80-115 in-lb.
