The Zumbrota Drivetrain RMTS5-47M-2 is a remanufactured 5-speed manual transmission specifically designed for 1999 Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duty trucks equipped with either the 5.4L or 6.8L engine and 4WD. This transmission model is the ZF S5-47M and features integral bell housings. Its gear ratios include a 5.72 low gear for superior off-road control and a 0.76 overdrive gear. Zumbrota Drivetrain employs a rigorous remanufacturing process that includes three quality inspections, comprehensive internal part checks, and replacement of all common wear components like seals and bearings. Each unit is dyno-tested to ensure it meets strict standards before shipment. Installation and shipping considerations are important for this unit. It must ship to an address with a loading dock or forklift and is not intended for residential delivery. Expedited shipping is not available, and shipping to Alaska or Hawaii requires a custom quote. A VIN is recommended to guarantee fitment. Additionally, there is a $1500 refundable core charge.
