Description

The ACCEL 140011 is a remote mount SuperCoil engineered for late model GM computer-controlled HEI systems, offering a direct bolt-in, plug-in replacement. It is constructed with optimized low resistance, high turns ratio windings around an M36 high silicone magnetic steel E-core, designed to deliver higher energy and voltage outputs. This ignition coil boasts a maximum voltage of 48,000 volts and provides 10-15% more energy compared to stock. It features advanced bobbin technology and a brass coil wire contact, which enhances energy transfer and resists corrosion better than aluminum. New mounting hardware is included for a complete installation. ACCEL advises that this coil is for race/off-road use or for use on pre-1966 vehicles.
