Remus 2016 BMW C650 Sport C650 GT 3C65 44kW Slip On

The 2016 BMW C 650 GT and C 650 Sport received significant updates. Both models feature a 647 cc DOHC parallel-twin engine producing 60 HP at 7,500 RPM and 46 ft. lbs. of torque at 6,000 RPM. A key improvement is the tweaked CVT variator, enhancing responsiveness, especially from a standstill. They also feature a new lighter-weight dual-tip exhaust and standard Automatic Stability Control (ASC) and ABS. The suspension was revised to be more firm, with a 10% reduction in spring rate, resulting in sharper handling but potentially a harsher ride on bumpy roads. The C 650 Sport, now the "cool-looking member" of the family, received bodywork updates, is 26 lbs lighter, and slightly narrower than the GT. It lacks an electrically adjustable windscreen and has different mirrors, offering less wind protection. The C 650 GT's bodywork is largely the same, with new color choices and a revised rear end. Other minor updates to the GT include redesigned mirrors, a revised tail section with new lights, a "high-gloss" handlebar cover center section, a revised seat with stitching, and a windscreen that now automatically moves to the lowest position when the ignition is off.
