The GForce Renegade Axles are engineered for record-breaking consistent performance, serving as a robust solution for enhancing the factory driveline setup in select 5th Generation Camaros. These axles are specifically designed to integrate with a factory 32-spline differential and a 33-spline wheel hub, ensuring a precise fit for the intended applications. While SS and ZL1 models share the same spline counts, they are explicitly not interchangeable. It is noted that all 5g Camaro platforms feature less-than-ideal axle angles from the factory. Consequently, CV assemblies and boots may experience accelerated wear, binding, or clearance issues, particularly in vehicles that have been lowered. GForce strongly advises against lowering these cars to maintain optimal performance and longevity of the axle components. The average customer with an SS/ZL1 typically operates around 750-800hp, with some reaching up to 1100hp. However, it's crucial to understand that any axle can fail at lower power levels due to factors like wheel hop or misuse. The provided horsepower figures are indicative of capability, not a guarantee. Reliability issues with the factory SS differential have been observed around 800hp, while the ZL1 differential offers slightly more strength. For competitive use or significantly higher power levels, GForce suggests considering upgrades such as their 9" conversion. These axle shafts were manufactured based on OEM suspension geometry. The use of aftermarket shocks or control arms may introduce clearance issues. Should CV boot clearance become a problem, low-profile boots are available as an upgrade, though they reduce available axle angle and are not ideal for lowered or high-angle vehicles.
