For high-powered applications, EXEDY offers twin and triple Multi-Plate clutches. Designed for high power street, drag, road, and rally racing. Twin plate clutches are rated for approximately 500 ft/lbs of torque, and triple plates for approximately 800 ft/lbs of torque (both at the flywheel). Twins come with spring damper discs or solid discs; triples are all solid discs and not recommended for street use. All EXEDY Hyper Multi-Plate clutches include a lightweight, chromoly steel flywheel and a purple anodized forged aluminum clutch cover. Available in strap drive and lug drive models. Features T5001 cerametallic friction materials for extreme heat resistance. Multi-plate clutches maintain light pedal pressure due to a half-engaged "zone" from the patented clutch "cushion" function.
