The EXEDY Hyper Single Series clutch is engineered for moderately modified cars. It features a purple anodized, forged aluminum cover for increased stiffness and reasonable pedal efforts. The pressure plate has turbine-like vanes for cooling and extended wear life. All Hyper Single clutches include a lighter chromoly steel flywheel for improved engine response. The disc is generally smaller and thinner than OEM, reducing inertia for quicker, easier shifting and less wear on transmission synchros. Higher clamp load and cerametallic friction facings provide approximately twice the holding torque of OEM clutches.
