The EXEDY Hyper Single Series clutch is engineered to optimize the performance of cars that are moderately modified. It features a purple anodized, forged aluminum cover, a chromoly steel flywheel, and a 6-puck cerametallic facing with a spring center damper disc assembly. The pressure plate features turbine-like, air flow enhancing vanes to keep the clutch cooler. The chromoly flywheel is lighter than OEM for improved engine response and overall lighter assembly. The disc is smaller and thinner than OEM for lower inertia, quicker, easier shifting, and less wear and tear on transmission synchros. It offers approximately twice the holding torque of the OEM clutch.
